MS Dhoni was the second-highest scorer for India in the first Twenty20 International against Australia in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. Dhoni scored an unbeaten 29 off 37 balls as from their 20 overs.
For larger part of his stay at the crease, Dhoni struggled big time to find the middle of his bat against the Australian bowling attack. Dhoni scored just one boundary — a big six over extra cover — during his knock.

Dhoni’s slow innings has also put him in the list of Indian batsmen with low strike rates facing at least 35 or more deliveries in an innings.
His strike rate of 78.38 in the first T20I was second lowest by an Indian batsman after Ravindra Jadeja, who holds the record with a strike rate on 71.42 during his 25 off 35 against England in 2009.
Dinesh Mongia is third in the list with a strike rate of 84.44 he registered while scoring 38 off 45 balls against South Africa in 2006.
Dhoni already has the second slowest half-century in one day internationals by an Indian batsman.
Dhoni had scored 50 from 108 balls against West Indies in Antigua in 2017.
Dhoni has been in fine form this year with the bat. He was the man-of-the-series in the three-match ODI series in Australia which India won 2-1 while also displayed his batting prowess in New Zealand.
